From the West/New York / New Jersey area:

Take 287 North until the end. Follow signs for 87 South/Tappan Zee Bridge. Stay on 87 south and go over the Tappan Zee Bridge. After paying the toll, (Get to the left) go about 1-1/2 miles and take exit 8 for 287 east. Proceed on 287 East (6-1/2 miles) until exit 9A (Brewster) for 684 north. Take 684 North to exit 9E, Route 84 east. Take I-684 onto I-84 east toward Danbury. Take Route 84 east to exit 5. Off exit, proceed through stop sign and continue straight through traffic light at the bottom of the hill. Continue straight. At traffic light by a major shopping center, continue straight(by bearing left). Stay on this road until you get to a Mobile Gas station on your RIGHT hand side and Make a right at that traffic light. NOTE: You will pass a Mobile station on your left, continue straight. Continue straight on this road as it bends around. You will see the lake on your right. Squantz Cove launch ramp will be on your right directly across from a fire station.
